Permanent exhibition
Come and visit the exhibition that begins in what was the cellar and gradually draws you into the story of the Vègre area, from the first human occupation up to the Middle Ages.
Next you explore the story of the building itself, the architecture, the decoration, life in the Middle Ages.
A majestic ceremonial hall
The visit ends with the magnificent Salle des Plaids which the canons used as a court of justice.
In this room, some will like to play the giant Goose Game or explore the toy box, while others will enjoy the story of the manor throughout the centuries and discover the other treasures in the valley of the Sarthe. There’s something for everyone!
A fun, digital experience
Multimedia
The modern exhibition puts multimedia and digital technology to good use. On the ground floor, visitors can delve into the day-to-day life if a Medieval canon via a giant touchscreen.
Various screens offer information on the exhibition’s topics: videos, photos, interviews, other content and high definition images for all to explore.
The exhibition is multi-sensory

Hearing, smell, sight and touch the Middle Ages! Reproductions of flint , 3D puzzles to build, scented pottery, sound, models…
The exhibition includes a wealth of fun, educational elements.
The whole family can join in.
Handicaps are catered for.
All types of handicap were taken into account when designing this project. Nobody is left out.
The manor is fitted with a lift, special features for the hard of hearing etc.
